Palm Beach County, FL- (July 19, 2023) The tenth annual Countdown 2 Zero (C2Z) Mega Pet Adoption Event will be held this Saturday, July 22, 2023, at multiple locations in Palm Beach County. This year’s event will feature an updated model. *Local rescues and shelters will organize their promotions and events, partnering with pet stores and businesses or hosting events at their respective locations. For example, Peggy Adams will host C2Z at their location (3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach), and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control’s animals will be at the Fairgrounds.

Organized by Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, the Countdown 2 Zero Adoption Event is a collaborative effort of a dozen local animal rescue organizations to save the lives of animals in Palm Beach County. The past nine C2Z adoption events found over 2,500 animals their forever homes.
“We are excited at the opportunity for even more animals to be adopted into loving homes with this updated model,” said Sue Berry, CEO of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. “Many rescue groups participating will offer special discounts and adoption incentives to help find these animals a loving forever home.”
