Tater Tot

Dolly’s Dream Dogs

Dolly’s Dream is a project to encourage the adoption of our “Square Heads” and to help counter the unfortunate stereotypes and myths that some people still believe about these dogs.

Benefits: Waived adoption fee, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, free year’s supply of parasite prevention, 1 free week of “Good Pup” training, complimentary collar, leash, bandana, toy, water, and food bowls.

Grey Whisker Club

Save a Senior! We encourage the adoption of our senior pets through our Grey Whisker Club adoption program. Research shows that having a pet helps people lead healthier lives, and the benefits are many.

Benefits: 50% off adoption fee, a comprehensive senior exam, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and a few complimentary supplies.

Peggy's Picks

The Peggy’s Picks program promotes the cats and dogs who have been with us for 90 days or more. Through no fault of their own, some animals are overlooked by potential adopters.

Benefits: Waived adoption fee, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, 1 free week of “Good Pup” training, and a few complimentary supplies.

Working Cat Program

If you are able to provide basic care and an indoor/outdoor space such as a barn, garage, warehouse, covered patio, etc. adopting working cats is a great way to ward off pests while saving lives!

Benefits: Waived adoption fee, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, complimentary cat den, crate, bowls, starter food, and litter.

Foster-to-Adopt

The Foster-to-Adopt program allows prospective adopters to take home a pet for 14 days to see if they’re a perfect match. Even if you’re not, you’re still helping a shelter animal relax, enjoy home life, and get one step closer to their forever family!

Pets for Heroes

Pets for Heroes is a program that honors those who are currently serving or have served in the United States military by giving them an opportunity to adopt any dog or cat at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League at no cost. Available to military personnel currently active, retired, or inactive. Must present a current form of military identification.

Benefits: Fee-waived adoption of adult animals or 50% off kitten/puppy adoptions, spay/neuter, microchip, updated on all age-appropriate vaccines, Hill’s Pet Nutrition starter bag of food, 30 days free of pet insurance with MetLife, and complimentary collar, leash, and toy.
