WEST PALM BEACH, FL- (November 13, 2020) Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is an emergency placement partner with Best Friends Animal Society and later today, Friday, November 13 at approximately 2:30 p.m., Peggy Adams will receive 15 dogs from Suwannee County Animal Shelter in Florida. This rescue, coordinated by Best Friends, is needed because all the dog kennels in Suwannee County are outside and flooding is expected this weekend due to the storm ETA. This transfer will also assist in clearing out the Suwannee County Animal Shelter to make room for any animals displaced by the storm.
The 15 rescue dogs are expected to be a variety of breeds, sizes, and ages. The dogs will receive a wellness check and any other medical care if needed prior to being placed up for adoption. For more information about these dogs, please visit PeggyAdams.org or email Adoptions@PeggyAdams.org
