Renowned fine jewelry designer Mish Tworkowski and Joseph Singer celebrated the upcoming 100th anniversary of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League with a festive cocktail party on Saturday evening, November 30th. The event, which took place at the Mish Fine Jewelry Studio, honored Pauline Pitt, board chair of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League and chairwoman of the upcoming Christmas Ball.
Over 100 Guests were delighted by a visit with three of the adorable puppies that are up for adoption at Peggy Adams. The evening featured a cheerful signature Pink Poodle cocktail and guests were able view Mish’s extraordinary jewelry designs. His beautiful new Garden collection was showcased in front of a backdrop of charming dog illustrations created by the celebrated creative director Robert Rufino and artist Manuel Santelices.
“It was a very special evening for us to recognize and celebrate the important and tireless work of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League,” said Mish Tworkowski, who also serves on the Board of Directors of Peggy Adams. “We are very fortunate to have people like Pauline Pitt in our community who are so dedicated to this cause as well as so many other important institutions. Pauline is truly an icon in Palm Beach. She has the biggest heart, and it is such an honor for us to highlight all that she does for the organization!”

Over the last century Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League served over 1.5 million animals. No longer a small operation, the nonprofit has expanded into a sprawling campus with over 100 employees, including six full-time veterinarians. Going beyond just adoptions, Peggy Adams offers a public clinic for low cost Spay/Neuter surgeries and preventative vaccines, free TNVR (Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return) for community cats, Safety Net services that include the Peggy’s Pantry community pet food bank, foster care and support, humane education programs, and much more.
