Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is holding a food drive for October to raise 25,000 pounds of food! Afterward, the nonprofit organization will host its newest event…Peggy’s Picnic, presented by Hill’s Pet Nutrition and MetLife Pet Insurance, on Saturday, November 9, 2024. Peggy’s Picnic will celebrate our community’s dedication to helping animals in need.
There are several ways to help Peggy Adams reach its food drive goal. Whether you organize a pet food drive in your community or donate pet food through the League’s Amazon wish list, Peggy’s Picnic provides an excellent opportunity to make a real difference by donating cat and dog food to help animals in need. Contributions, both big and small, will positively impact countless lives, as Peggy Adams aims to collect 25,000 pounds of food for its food bank, Peggy’s Pantry.
“This food drive is about more than just feeding pets—it’s about keeping families together.” Says Sue Berry, CEO. “By supporting Peggy’s Pantry, we’re helping ensure that families don’t have to make the heartbreaking decision of giving up their beloved pets due to financial hardship. Together, we can provide the resources that allow pets to stay in their homes, where they are loved and cared for.”
Peggy’s Picnic will take place on November 9 at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, located at 3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The event will feature local vendors, games, tours of their clinic, and more. Admission is a donation of pet food.
