Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League wants to make sure your pets have a way to get back home if they get scared and run away during the July 4th holiday. To help safeguard your pets, Peggy Adams is offering a microchip special from July 1st through July 3rd, from 10am to 12:30pm. The discounted cost to microchip your pet during this three-day promotion is only $13.
With the excitement and commotion of many popular summertime events, including July 4th activities, pets sometimes go missing. Remember to keep your pet in a secure area if guests will be coming and going during parties such as a barbecues or picnics. Pets can easily escape in the bustle of a party. Also, be sure pets are wearing their collars with ID tags.
One in five pets goes missing after being scared by loud noises. Keep your pets in a quiet, secure area at home during firework holidays and when summer storms come rolling in.
Now is the time to get your pet microchipped! And if your pet is already microchipped, please make sure your contact information is current and up to date with the microchip company. Microchipped pets have a much better chance of being reunited with their owners.

Peggy Adams’ Wellness Clinic is open for wellness exams, vaccinations, microchipping, flea and heartworm preventatives Monday from 1:30pm-5pm, Tuesday-Saturday from 10am-5pm and closed on Sundays. (The clinic staff breaks for lunch from 12:30pm-1:30pm.) On Monday, July 1st, the clinic is open early for the microchip special!
