WEST PALM BEACH, FL- (OCTOBER 13, 2021) Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is scheduled to host some Howl-O-Ween fun on Saturday, October 23, to support awareness of their long-time residents in search of a forever home. This event offers kids a safe place to trunk or treat in their Halloween costumes (which are optional), and the opportunity to learn more about all the amazing shelter pets currently at Peggy Adams.
Everyone who attends can try their hand at making homemade pet costume accessories, go on a special scavenger hunt, and even judge Peggy Adams’ first annual Pooch Parade. This event is for non-furries only – please leave your pets at home.
The festivities begin at 10:00 am at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, located at 3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach. The cost is $10/per child and open to all ages. This event takes place indoors and outdoors. For indoor activities masks are required. The event will take place rain or shine… If there is rain in the forecast, we recommend an umbrella for the walk from the adoption center to the covered training center for trunk or treating.

Schedule of Events:
10:00 am: Doors open for registered/paid attendees
10:00 am- 11:00 am: Ongoing crafts and activities
11:00 am: Trunk or Treating opens
11:30 am: Peggy Adams’ dogs will compete in an animal costume parade; and snow cones will be available for attendees while votes are tallied and the winner is announced!
