WEST PALM BEACH, FL- (OCTOBER 6, 2022) – Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is scheduled to host some Howl-O-Ween fun on Saturday, October 22, to support awareness of their long-time residents in search of a forever home. This event offers kids a safe place to trunk or treat in their Halloween costumes (which are optional), and the opportunity to learn more about all the amazing shelter pets currently at Peggy Adams.
Everyone who attends can try their hand at customizing their treat bag with stickers and artwork, test their skills at carnival games, go on a special scavenger hunt, and even judge Peggy Adams’ second annual Pooch Parade. This event is for non-furries only – please leave your pets at home.
The festivities begin at 10:00 am at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, located at 3200 N. Military Trail in West Palm Beach. The cost is $10/per child and open to all ages. This event takes place indoors and outdoors. The event will take place rain or shine… If there is rain in the forecast, we recommend an umbrella for the walk from the adoption center to Peggy Adams’ covered outdoor training center for trunk or treating and the Pooch Parade.

Schedule of Events:
10:00 am: Doors open for registered/paid attendees
10:00 am- 11:00 am: Ongoing treat bag decorating, activities and carnival games
11:00 am: Trunk or Treating opens
11:30 am: Peggy Adams’ dogs strut their stuff in the 2nd Annual Pooch Parade. Participants vote for their favorite!
