WEST PALM BEACH, FL- (July 28, 2022) August 1st is the Universal Birthday for all shelter and rescue dogs. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League would like to thank everyone who has adopted a shelter pet.
“For all of the families that have opened their home and heart to a rescue dog and might not have known exactly the date or month your furry friend was born, we encourage you to join us and celebrate on DOGust 1st,” said Sue Berry, CEO of Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League. “It’s a wonderful time to show appreciation for those that love us unconditionally and we love in return.”
And if someone does not have a shelter pet, why not adopt? To celebrate this special day, Peggy Adams is reminding everyone that now is a wonderful time to adopt and add a new furry friend to the family. In fact, for the entire month of August, Peggy Adams will offer Name Your Own Price* for dogs and cats over the age of 5 months. (*A rabies tag fee applies to Palm Beach County residents).
All adoptable pets are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adopters receive a free starter bag of Hill’s Pet Nutrition food, 30 days of PetFirst Pet Insurance, and a registered HomeAgain Microchip. Peggy Adams, located at 3200 N. Military Trail, West Palm Beach, is open daily from 11am-6pm.
