As the need for shelter space continues to rise, Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is looking for families to give adoptable pets a “vacation.” The Couch Surfer Foster Program gets adoptable cats and dogs out of the stressful shelter environment where they can have an opportunity to relax in a home environment and meet potential adopters.
This week’s WPBF to the Rescue pet is Johnny Cash.
He is described by shelter staff as fun-loving, playful and loving. The one-year-old pup is dog-friendly and loves to tag along with humans for adventures or hang at home to play fetch.
His floppy ears and precious snaggle-toothed smile capture hearts everywhere he goes.
