Elvira is a seven-year-old cat who loves to snuggle with her humans, enjoys the company of other cats and gets along well with small children.

She could use a little help in her forever home losing a few pounds.

Peggy Adams is hosting its annual Spay Day on June 8th. The rescue staff will perform the procedure on hundreds of animals in an effort to prevent unwanted litters from being born outdoors and ends the cycle of overpopulation.

The TNVR (trap, neuter, vaccinate, release) program is for free-roaming cats in Palm Beach County.

You can get a humane trap from Peggy Adams.

Registration for summer camp at Peggy Adams is open right now as well. It is for kids between 8 and 14. Shelter staff say kids can spend a week interacting with cats & dogs, learn about veterinary care & training, and craft for the animals.

Week-long programs are available all summer, June through August.
