Giving Tuesday is a yearly, worldwide tradition; it provides WPBF to the Rescue partners with a platform to educate the public about their mission, and raise money to continue their work saving animals across south Florida.
How to help our WPBF to the Rescue partners
Big Dog Ranch Rescue is raising money for it’s ‘Miracle Fund.’ BDRR uses the money for emergency medical cases, like Chowder, who came to the Rescue with BB pellets, glass, plastic and metal in her stomach.
Up to $20,000 in donations to The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast will be matched today. The money will allow the shelter to launch an owner surrender prevention program. The ‘Pawsitive Manners Club,’ will provide low cost to free behavioral classes to pet owners.
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League’s biggest need is dry dog and cat food for ‘Peggy’s Pantry.’ The community pet food pantry helps families keep their pets fed during financially hard times; in turn keeping pets out of the shelter. The pantry serves more than 12,000 pets each year.
