Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is teaming up with Celis Run Club this Wednesday for a special meet-and-greet event. Adoptable dogs of all ages will be ready to hang out with runners and even potential adopters at the amphitheater in Downtown West Palm Beach. This will give the shelter dogs a big break from being indoors. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League will also educate the runners who are interested in how to get involved in volunteering or helping out at the rescue.

Mara Gleason with Peggy Adams said, “We’re going to be bringing a lot of our adoptable dogs and puppies, just like Eleanor here, to meet her runners and hopefully maybe find homes. Even if you’re not adopting, there are other ways to get involved, and we’d love to meet and chat about with people.”

The dogs will arrive at 5:45 p.m. and hang out through sundown. April 30 is also National Adopt a Shelter Pet Day.
