Looking to grow your family? The Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is waiving their adoption fees for adult dogs and cats.
The event is being held in partnership with Cognizant Classic and will be held on Friday, Jan. 17 through Sunday, January 19. According to a news release the event will not only give the Palm Beach community an opportunity to find a new furry member for their family, but will also get people hype for South Florida’s hometown PGA tour event.
The news release says, the adoption fees will be waived for adult large dogs who are 6 months and older. Fees will also be waived for adult cats who are six months and older.
Adoptions will be available at the Pet Adoption Center from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
“We are excited to be able to do this for our canine and feline friends here in South Florida,” said Todd Fleming, Executive Director of the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches. “Helping animals find loving homes is a cause close to our hearts, and we’re proud to bring the community together for such a meaningful initiative.”
