Here’s an event that will offer music and help animals. The local band Spred the Dub will again host the annual Bark Back Benefit music festival on Saturday, Oct. 21, at Bryant Park in Lake Worth Beach. Gates will open at 11:30 a.m., with the first band at noon and the last band (Spred the Dub) at 9 p.m.
The eighth annual Bark Back Benefit benefiting Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a daylong, family-friendly event offering nine bands, food trucks, artisans and vendors, outdoor bars and an annual First Responders Rescue Runway Walk.
Attendees also can meet adoptable shelter animals looking for forever homes.
The music lineup includes live entertainment from Brett Staska & the Souvenirs, Billy Doom Is Dead, Fuakata, Uproot Hootenanny, The Petty Hearts (Tom Petty Tribute band), Nirvanna (Nirvana Tribute band), OctoGato, The Supervillains and Spred the Dub.
General admission tickets will be sold at the gate on the event day for $10 until 6 p.m.; ticket prices will then increase to $15. A limited number of VIP tickets also are available. VIP tickets include admission to the festival, a Fast Pass to all the bars, two complimentary drink tickets (for those over 21), and a meet and greet with musicians. VIP tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be sold on the day of the event. Visit BarkBackBenefit.com to learn more and/or purchase VIP tickets.
