On Tuesday, 10/2/2018 Non Profits First hosted the 2nd Annual Hats Off Awards at the Harriett Himmel Theater. This program honors individuals and organizations in Palm Beach County for their excellence in service to others. Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League was nominated for Non-Profit of the Year (budget over $5,000,000), Volunteer of the Year: Clayton Rogers and for the MVP of the Year: Intake & Receiving Coordinator, Jackie Perez. The event featured an excellent DJ, drinks and of course, fun hats!
The League was so pleased to share the honor of being nominated among so many other worthy causes; Leadership Palm Beach County, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County, 211 Information Crisis Line and more. To the League’s delight, Intake and Receiving Coordinator Jackie Perez won the MVP Award and we were surprised to be honored in a tie with Leadership Palm Beach County for the People’s Choice Award; the only category voted on and tallied during the event. Join us in celebrating our wins and by congratulating all the nominees. It’s a great day in Palm Beach County when the non-profit community comes together to celebrate each other’s hard work.
