About Me

Meet Krumb! This sweet senior boy has been stealing hearts all around the shelter, and he’s ready to win yours next! At 7 years old, Krumb is past the rambunctious puppy phase but still has so much love to give. Krumb enjoys playing with other dogs, taking leisurely walks, and meeting new people. As a member of our Grey Whisker Club for senior pets, Krumb’s adoption fee is 50% off, and he’ll take home supplies to help him start adopted life on the right paw. Krumb can’t wait to meet his future family – come on in to see him at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League!

Dolly’s Dream Dogs

Dolly’s Dream is a project to encourage the adoption of our “Square Heads” and to help counter the unfortunate stereotypes and myths that some people still believe about these dogs.

Grey Whisker Club

Save a Senior! We encourage the adoption of our senior pets through our Grey Whisker Club adoption program. Research shows that having a pet helps people lead healthier lives, and the benefits are many.

Benefits: 50% off adoption fee, a comprehensive senior exam, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, and a few complimentary supplies.

Peggy's Picks

The Peggy’s Picks program promotes the cats and dogs who have been with us for 90 days or more. Through no fault of their own, some animals are overlooked by potential adopters.

Benefits: Waived adoption fee, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, 1 free week of “Good Pup” training, and a few complimentary supplies.

Working Cat Program

If you are able to provide basic care and an indoor/outdoor space such as a barn, garage, warehouse, covered patio, etc. adopting working cats is a great way to ward off pests while saving lives!

Benefits: Waived adoption fee, free spay/neuter, microchip, up-to-date vaccinations, complimentary cat den, crate, bowls, starter food, and litter.
