I may need a little time to warm up, but once I do, you’ll see what a special girl I really am! One of the best ways to help me feel comfortable is simply getting down to my level. A little patience, some kind words, and plenty of treats go a long way with me! Once I’m out of my kennel, it’s like a whole new Ember comes to life! I love heading to the yard, running around, and doing my happy little jumps with my front paws along the way. When it’s time to head back, I’ll look to you for reassurance and safety. I’m a great little copycat, too—if I see you confidently walk through a door, I’ll know it must be safe and happily follow right behind you. I absolutely LOVE words of affirmation and, of course, treats of all kinds! Once I’m comfortable and trust you, I’ll happily accept all the love, cuddles, and affection you’re willing to give me—on my terms, of course. I’m looking for someone who will be patient with me, celebrate my progress, and show me that the world isn’t so scary. In return, you’ll get to watch my confidence blossom and discover the silly, loving, playful girl underneath.
