This reactive dog training course is for dogs struggling with barking or pulling towards dogs, people, etc. who have previously graduated Taming Tarzan 1 and are looking to continue growing with their dog and learning new skills to help encourage calm behavior in place of reactivity.

What to expect in class?

• Week 1: Introduce dogs to the environment and other dogs in a controlled manner.
• Week 2 – Develop trust and confidence in dogs while removing some barriers.
• Week 3 – Strengthen positive associations with other dogs.
• Week 4 – Enhance desensitization techniques and introduce controlled interactions.
• Week 5 – Apply skills in real-world scenarios and celebrate progress.

Course Information

Prerequisites:

This class is for dogs 16 weeks and older.

All attendees MUST have the following vaccinations before attendance. Please send proof of vaccination through email to training@peggyadams.org at least 72 hours prior to the first day of class.

Proof of 3 vaccinations

• DHPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza) 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required.
• Bordetella (Required every 12 months (or as required under the applicable law of your jurisdiction or residence) and at least 72 hours prior to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency and protection against Kennel Cough. Please note that many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.
• Rabies (1 or 3-yr. vaccine required. *Rabies per local ordinance.)

Unfortunately, WE WILL NOT ALLOW ENTRY, if proper vaccination documentation is not presented!
