Join us on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 2 pm – 4 pm for a fun painting event!

Participants will paint a portrait of their own pet or a pre-selected image of one of our shelter animals. Just in time for Mother’s Day, this is a perfect opportunity to bring your mom and enjoy an afternoon painting portraits of the pets you love together.

The $75 registration fee per person includes a 12 x 16 canvas and all painting supplies. All proceeds from this event will benefit Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League.

Feel free to bring your own drinks and snacks to enjoy during the event; however, alcoholic beverages are not permitted.

Plus, a few of our shelter dogs will be stopping by as special guests—adding even more joy (and tail wags!) to the afternoon.

Registration deadline: Monday, April 27

If you are painting a portrait of a shelter animal, we will contact you via email and ask you to choose one animal from a pre-selected list of our shelter dogs and cats.

If painting your own pet, a photo must be uploaded during registration. For best results, please submit a clear, well-lit headshot with your pet looking at the camera.

Registration is required. No refunds will be issued for this event.
