In this class, you will learn the basics of positive reinforcement training and how to apply that to help train some of the most common issues among young or “teenage” dogs.
What to expect in class?
Our 5-week Doggy Delinquents class consists of five one-hour sessions with you and your dog. The class focuses on common issues among adolescent dogs including jumping, pulling on leash, barking, and more. In this class, you will learn the basics of positive reinforcement training and how to apply that to help train some of the most common issues among young or “teenage” dogs. This class will also help to create and strengthen the bond between you and your dog and encourage a better understanding of how your dog is feeling or trying to communicate to you with some of the behaviors trained in the class.
Course Information
Prerequisite: This class is for dogs 16 weeks and older.
All attendees MUST have the following vaccinations before attendance. Please send proof of vaccination through email to training@peggyadams.org at least 72 hours prior to the first day of class.
Proof of 3 vaccinations:
- DHPP (Distemper, Parvovirus & Parainfluenza) 1 or 3-yr. vaccine required.
- Bordetella (Required every 12 months (or as required under the applicable law of your jurisdiction or residence) and at least 72 hours prior to check-in to ensure maximum efficiency and protection against Kennel Cough. Please note that many veterinarians administer this vaccine only by request.
- Rabies (1 or 3-yr. vaccine required. *Rabies per local ordinance.)
Unfortunately, WE WILL NOT ALLOW ENTRY, if proper vaccination documentation is not presented!
Class Duration 5 Weeks (one class per week, one hour each)
