School's Out: Summer Fun
Join the Summer Fun at Peggy Adams with our week-long School’s Out program.
Learn all about dogs and cats. Enrich their days and help make toys and treats for them. Express your creative side through arts-n-crafts. Play games and activities, and meet new friends, all while helping shelter animals!
Activities include animal interactions, story time, guest speakers, behind-the-scenes experiences, and even an opportunity to earn some service hours.
The program runs from 9 am to 3 pm and costs $295 per participant.
Ages 8-10 | Hot Dogs & Cool Cats
Does your child love animals? Hot Dogs & Cool Cats encourages safe animal interactions while building self-esteem and nurturing their compassion for animals. Campers will learn about dog and cat body language, make toys and treats for the animals, create arts and crafts, play games, and meet new friends!

Ages 10-12 | Art from the Heart
Experiment with different art mediums while participating in fun activities, make new friends and of course spend time with the animals!
Campers will come home with lots of creative art.
All materials are included!

Ages 12-14 | Jr. Animal Care Interns
The Jr. Animal Care Intern program is just the opportunity for hardworking animal lovers. Participants will learn about dog and cat body language, roll up their sleeves, and make animal diets, as well as toys and treats that will enrich the lives of our shelter animals while in our care. Time will be spent socializing our animals and meeting new friends! Earn your service hours too!!

If you are between the ages of 12-14… sign up for camp and become a Jr. Animal Care Intern.
Refund Policy:
- 75% refund 20 days or more prior to first day of program.
- 50% refund 15 days prior to first day of program.
- 25% refund 8 days prior to first day of program.
- No refunds will be issued 7 days or fewer prior to the first day of camp.
