Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is proud to announce the appointment of Joanne Pellecchia as Director of Development & Marketing, recognizing her exceptional leadership and more than a decade of dedicated service to the organization.
A valued member of Peggy Adams’ leadership team for over 14 years, Pellecchia brings a distinctive combination of creative, scientific, and strategic expertise to her expanded role. Since joining Peggy Adams in 2012, she has played an instrumental role in strengthening fundraising operations, enhancing donor engagement, and advancing the organization’s long-term growth.
Pellecchia initially joined the organization overseeing the donor database and managing its premier fundraising events. Through her data-driven approach and strong relationships with donors and Board leadership, she has helped elevate development initiatives across the organization. Today, she leads Peggy Adams’ highest revenue-generating event, the annual Christmas Ball, which raises more than $3 million each year to support lifesaving animal welfare programs.

Before joining Peggy Adams, Pellecchia served as Development Director for US Diagnostics in West Palm Beach, where she oversaw development operations, donor database management, and IT support.
Originally from Northeast Pennsylvania, Pellecchia holds an Associate’s degree in Commercial Art and a Bachelor’s degree in Natural Sciences with a minor in Psychology. Her multidisciplinary background informs her innovative approach to fundraising, donor stewardship, and marketing strategy.
Pellecchia resides in Atlantis with her husband and their beloved dog, Ceta. Outside of work, she enjoys scuba diving, fishing, cooking, and embracing South Florida’s coastal lifestyle.
