🍯 Hi! I’m Honey! 🍯
I’m a beautiful 3-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and just like my name suggests, I’m sweet as can be when it comes to my people! I’m very social with humans and love getting attention, affection, and spending time with my favorite people. I’m also an active girl who loves her walks and adventures! Whether we’re heading out for a stroll, exploring somewhere new, or getting some good exercise together, I’m happiest when I have something to do and a person to share it with. I’d love a family that enjoys staying active and can keep both my body and brain busy! I’ve had the chance to participate in multiple playgroups with other dogs, so I’ve shown that I can enjoy canine companionship. Right now, I participate in playgroups with a muzzle as part of my safety plan. When I get really excited, frustrated, or overwhelmed around another dog, I can have a hard time managing those big feelings. I’m looking for someone who will take the time to learn my triggers, set me up for success, and give me the structure and patience I need. With the right guidance and understanding, I can continue learning how to handle those big emotions and make good choices. But when it comes to people? I’m all about them!
